Kompang Small – 9cm diameter x 7 cm
This popular traditional Malay musical instrument is widely used for many social occasions. Kompang is played in a similar manner of a tambourine and is played with an interlocking rhythm technique. This hand drum has been used as part of many glorious occasions in Malaysia, from National Day parades, wedding ceremonies, football matches and official functions to signal the arrival of VIPs to and football matches.
