Nasi Kandar is a popular Indian cuisine from northern part of Malaysia, Penang. Usually it is taken with a side dish; meat curry and vegetable. Nasi Kandar is a favourite dish among the Malaysians and is served in the Indian Muslim restaurants. Ingredients :-
Maltodextrin, Spice Mix, Chili Powder, Salt, Sugar, Garlic, Palm Fat, Citric Acid, Contains yeast extract, Sodium Inosinate, Guanylate as permitted flavor enhancer. Contain permitted flavouring of plant origin.
To Prepare :-
- Heat 3 tbsp oil and fry 200g thinly sliced onions. Add 40g Maggi Nasi Kandar Curry Mix (pre-mixed with 3 tbsp water) and fry until aromatic.
- Add 500g beef slices, 200g tomatoes (cut into wedges) and 2 ½ cups water.
- Bring to boil, reduce heat and if desired add ¼ cup thick coconut milk. Cook until meat is tender.
