Chilli Powder
Chilli powder is made from ground dried chilli hot peppers. Chilli powder is a spicy condiment that is used for cooking in most spicy foods, especially for curries. In Malaysia, it is use in Chinese, Malay and Indian cooking for their spicy cuisines such as curries and curry laksa in their own race taste and way.

Ingredients :-
Pure Chilli.
Spicy Prawn
Ingredients :
600gm medium size prawn shelled
2 tbsp Alagappa’s Chilli Powder
3 stalks lemon grass - crushed
1 bombay onion – sliced thickly
Some tamarind juice
Salt to taste
½ tbsp sugar
6 tbsp of cooking oil
Seasoning A – pound together until fine
4 cloves of garlic
5 shallot
1.5cm piece ginger
1 tbsp mixed Halba Seeds
Method :
- Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the pounded Seasoning A until fragrant. Add the lemon grass and sliced Bombay onion and add Aligappa’s Chilli Powder.
- Put in the sugar, salt and tamarind juice.
- Lastly put in the prawns and cook until the prawns are cooked.
- Serve hot with rice.
